Firefighting Robot

Call it a mini-tank pulling a hose.

If you recall the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris last year, during the fire they deployed a firefighting robot that fought the fire from inside the building when it was risky to have a large number of firefighters inside.

Now, the Los Angeles Fire Department has acquired one of these robots. See this local news report "New Firefighting Robot Rolls Into Action."

All you firefighters, you have a new toy to ask Santa for this coming Christmas season. Although, you'd better have been good boys and girls all year long for Santa to give a robot with a $278,000 price tag.
