Washington State Emergency Management Division has re-advertised the
Earthquake Program Manager's position. I think this is the third time they have put out a "call for candidates." They evidently have not been able to find the right person for the slot.
In this last call for candidates they have lowered the position, within their system of classification, from a 4 to a 3. I found that very interesting since in my past experience in trying to find qualified people, generally folks raise the qualification levels to attract higher-level candidates.
We'll see if the third time is the charm!
