Jobs: Just for Retired Federal Employees Working Disasters

This was a new one for me. A Corps of Engineers program.

FEMA of course has had disaster reservist positions for years.  Today I found out that the Corps of Engineers specifically has a program to hire retired federal employees for disaster reservist duties.  They call it Reemployed Annuitant Cadre

This might be an option for someone who wants to keep their fingers in the workplace and help out during disasters.

Dave Spicer one of those "recently retired" federal employees shared this item.
