Lack of Standards for Emergency Preparedness for Kids

It is pretty surprising to me that the status of laws and standards is what it is nationally, after all we have seen that has happened in schools. This goes beyond the shootings to natural disasters.

See the USA Today story Report: 21 states don't meet emergency standards for kids. The maps tell the story.

I guess if it hasn't happened "there" yet they think they are immune.
