Learning New Software — What Fun?

What software do you like? Answer: The one you know!

After 14 years of using a particular form of software to produce this blog, glory be there is a new and “improved” software that I have to use to produce a blog post.

At my age, learning a new software is like teaching an old dog a new trick. I’ve had “shake hands” down for years and now they want me to “roll over!”

People think I’m a technologist because I’ve been an early adopter of different technologies. For 2020, it was doing a podcast; now, it is a bit more complicated with this new system — but, hey, I should be able to learn it.

My training session on the software just ended, so I’m trying to get the new tool ingrained into my head and fingers so I can be productive. If you didn’t notice, it has been a couple of days since I posted anything, as I was waiting for my training session.

I think boomers are the ones who have the most issues with new technologies, but even I am ahead of my two children who missed the technology surge, whereas their children are going to be digital natives.

Anyway, away we go! More coming soon, if I can just find that “save” button!
