I think the merger has been approved, the integration just needs to occur and then of course to have 5G operational. Looks to me like they are trying to match-up with what AT&T/FirstNet and Verizon are doing and pitching to first responder agencies.
Note, I was in a AT&T store recently and saw a FirstNet binder on the table. The salesperson said first responders just need to show their badge in order to have their personal phones added to the FirstNet capability.
