Rumor: COVID-19 Is a Hoax

And, Sandy Hook School shooting was one too.

Who makes this stuff up?

Just yesterday my next-door neighbor had some work being done at his home and the workman shared that the whole COVID-19 pandemic is a hoax. Basically, 110,000 people have not died. How can people not believe that? According to him, his father-in-law is a surgeon and he agreed that the whole thing is a hoax.

I just blogged on how there is a conspiracy theory that 5G is causing COVID-19, and then with this other story, we have the entire disease as not being true at all. How do they pull off stunts like this? Then, as I noted above, there are those who have claimed that the terrible tragedy of the school shooting at Sandy Hook was a hoax.

There are wacko people and then there those out to make money by promoting conspiracy theories to make a buck based on clicks to their websites. The latter should be locked up, in my opinion, because they are profiteers, plain and simple. Their trade is misinformation, innuendo and sensationalism that they profit from personally. It reminds me of television networks that skew one way or the other on the political spectrum.

The real problem is then they taint other people who are gullible enough to believe their outlandish statements. Maybe I'm in the wrong truth-telling business. When it comes to money, I certainly am in the wrong business.
