I don’t know what the gun laws of Virginia are, but I would think the parents of a six-year-old are in trouble. In this case, the availability of a weapon might have been the issue, along with the “culture” of the family. It feels like a new low point in school shootings.

I think we all know that if you have a website tracking anything, this is not a “one off” type of event.

In the list of hazards you have to deal with for your jurisdiction, I think school and/or mass shootings have to be on it. They are too common to ignore and they can happen anywhere.
