Schools, Teachers, Students, Learning, COVID-19

No easy solutions to educating our children safely.

What I remember as a local emergency manager, back in the day, was that approximately 18 percent of King County's population was in schools, K-12. That is not an insignificant number of the overall population, around 324,000 kids.

See this story: "Schools are 2 months into reopening under Covid-19 and no one's officially keeping track of how it's going."

We will never have the data as we come out of the pandemic — eventually  to know what worked and what didn't. When national records are not being kept, there is no way to tell which measures were effective and which were not.
