Security Planning for Faith Based Organizations - Houses of Worship

Security planning assistance is available.

This is coming from an email forwarded to me:

"The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is committed to supporting your efforts to maintain safe and secure houses of worship and related facilities while sustaining an open and welcoming environment.

I am happy to announce that CISA recently launched a new webpage specifically dedicated to providing access to information that supports efforts to secure houses of worship. I encourage you to visit CISA’s new Faith Based Organization-Houses of Worship (FBO-HOW) resource page at https://www.cisa.gov/faith-based-organizations-houses-worship.

In addition, and as a reminder, CISA maintains a nationwide presence through regional offices that consist of personnel, including Protective Security Advisors (PSAs), who can assist in enhancing security at houses of worship and related facilities through assessments, exercises, training, and other tangible capabilities. To find out more about CISA’s resources, please check out our newly released CISA Services Catalog, www.cisa.gov/publications/cisa-services-catalog, or reach out to CISA Central with any questions at Central@cisa.gov.

Thank you again for your continued partnership and dedication to maintaining your houses of worship safe and secure. Please always remember that you have a committed partner in CISA; together, we can enhance our collective capabilities and develop innovative solutions to mitigate the dynamic threat environment."
