Starbucks, Tea, Touch Screen and Emergency Management

We need to be more creative in how we present disaster preparedness information to the general public.

It has seemed like a lazy day to me.  While I've been busy with stuff around home on a Saturday it has not been a productive day in the office and blogging, unless you think paying bills is being productive.

Then I take a peek at my Techflash email for the day and up pops this short article and link to what Starbucks is doing to promote its new line of teas in Canada.  Basically it is putting a touch screen on an outside window and letting customers use an interactive display with touch capability to learn more about their teas.

If Starbucks and do something like this we should be able to copy the concept and use it for disaster preparedness.  Take any  busy pedestrian place like a mall and coordinate with a store owner and it would be a winning presentation that would capture people's attention and engagement.
