The Role of the SBA in Disasters

That’s the Small Business Administration.

Today I was talking to someone about an ongoing disaster recovery situation and I mentioned the role of the Small Business Administration (SBA) in disaster response and recovery.

Before sending off a TV interview I did with a regional administrator, I thought I’d refresh my knowledge on what the agency actually does both before and after a disaster.

If you have little knowledge of the SBA, you might find this 30 minute program informative:
Disaster Zone - Small Business Administration Loans.”

It goes back a few years, but the information is still current.
