There Will be no Computers in Heaven

There is a very good chance you will find them in Hell!!

Today is the day I hope to get my "digital life" back in sync.

I've had a new laptop computer for well over a month that I've not been able to use, since the new Microsoft Windows 365 operating system does not support my 2007 Exchange Server. So I've been on an odyssey to get the new device up and running and my Exchange server switched to the 2013 version, which is supported by Microsoft. All the rest of the Holdemans' computers will need to be switched too.

Can you say frustrating! In our family we have nine digital devices; two iPhones; two iPads; three laptops; one desktop and one Surface. All of them have Microsoft Exchange on them so that my wife has access to my calendar; my 10,874 contacts; and I have all my devices synced to one another — plus hers of course.

Now after two weeks of haggling to get my Exchange provider to recognize my account and make the switch — hopefully successfully — I'll be back in business.

Which brings me to the title of this blog post. God doesn't need a computer. We will not need a computer in Heaven, but I'm absolutely positive that the Devil will use computers along with the fires of Hell to torture us throughout eternity.

Sometimes I run into someone in their 80s who says, "I don't own a computer." There are times I think, "Maybe that might be a good idea!"
