Town Hall Seattle: Going out with a Bang!

How to kill your husband and other disaster preparedness tips.

Several years ago I gave what is like a mini Ted Talk as part of an Ignite Seattle evening of speakers. Now, back by popular demand, I get to do a "do over" this coming Friday night as Town Hall Seattle is about to get a total makeover, which will include a seismic upgrade.

As part of a larger program, they are having five Ignite Talks repeated, and my "How to Kill Your Husband and Other Disaster Preparedness Tips" was chosen as one of the five topics (I figure there were close to 600 that have been given over the years). Perhaps, besides being a bit entertaining, I can convince one or two people in the audience that they should actually do something about becoming prepared for a disaster.

The format for doing the presentation is 20 slides in five minutes, with slides automatically advancing every 15 seconds. Try this sometime, it is not that easy to do.
