Tropical Storms Getting Stronger

Looking at it over the decades.

As we prepare for the next hurricane season, with one tropical storm already under our belt, there is this study that looked at data on storms around the world over a period of many decades, Hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones are becoming stronger, according to a new NOAA study.

You can argue the causes all you want, but the facts are the facts. In emergency management, we are focused on mitigation and consequence management. If the risks are getting higher -- what will we do?
