Trust is not Popular

Based on my personal blogging experience, trust is not a very popular subject.

The fact that trust is not popular in today's culture of mistrust should come as no surprise.  However, I was recently surprised to see the "low interest" in a series of blog postings I did recently on the subject of trust.

One of the great things about blogging is that there is a "performance measurement" feedback tool on how many people click on a particular blog post.  The series I reference above was one of my lowest performing blog postings ever!  Not only are people not very trusting today, they also don't want to read about trust either.

I've been wanting to mention the factoid about the dearth of hits on Trust blog posts, and today I was tweaked to do this blog post when I saw a link to this book, Trust Inc.: Strategies for Building Your Company's Most Valuable Asset

For more on trust see Trust Across America  And, for one fromEric's Corner archives see a column I did almost four years ago on trust.

I'll try to remember to let you know if this blog posting makes into the "top 25 for the week" when I get the stats for Disaster Zone next Monday.
