Claire Rubin's website has a book review, Book Review: The Ostrich Paradox; Why We Underprepare for Disasters.

Ed Thomas, President of the Natural Hazards Mitigation Assoc. wrote the review and it makes me want to read the book.

Some days I want to give up on getting people to be proactive about disasters, but my persistence keeps me going.
