Up Next: Vaccination Scams

It is to be expected as people try to take advantage of others.

Just when you thought we were turning the corner with having a COVID-19 vaccination, another hazard is being primed to attack people, except this time the threat is to the wallet.

Think about all the ways that someone could be tricked into surrendering their money in return for:

  • Jumping the vaccination line and getting it earlier than projected for them
  • Being guaranteed to get a particular type of vaccine
  • Having someone come to their house to vaccinate them
  • Being able to "buy" vaccinations for the entire family (makes a wonderful Christmas gift!)
I'm sure there are more potential twists to how people can pry a credit card number out of unsuspecting people who are only concerned about their health and the health of their loved ones.

Perhaps as you get ready to provide public information on vaccinations, you might alert people about vaccination scams as part of that messaging.
