Vote by Mail Solves Two Issues

Cybersecurity being one and the other, COVID-19

I know that election officials cannot turn on a dime and change how their states or respective counties conduct their elections, but a change could be coming.

Certainly, a vote-by-mail system would have allowed Ohio not to have cancelled their primary election this week due to the coronavirus.

It also provides a paper backup for all elections and is a counter to any hacking of election results. See a previous DZTV: Election Security to see what one proactive county here in Washington has done to counter the cyberthreat to elections.

It is an example of how paper still has a function in a digital world.
