Wearable Technology, Getting Wired

It will be interesting to see how the merging of technology with clothing turns out in the coming years.

Google Glass is going beyond concept to reality and the Samsung Wrist Watch/Phone/Computer is being marketed heavily now.  There are more tech tools coming that can attach to your body.

Wearable tech brings with it the issue of how to attach all of it to your body.  I recall more than one amateur radio operator walking around with a vest on and oodles of cords and radios dripping from his body.

Take that image and update it to this century and you have the SCOTTEVESTthat is made to house all the digital tools you want and connect the wires with bonus "on board" power to boot.  I can see a few emergency managers in the future "getting wired" for this type of set up.

Saying someone is "wired" might have a whole new meaning very soon.
