Updated August 16th: I have not followed the sequence of WebEOC owners and developers all that closely. What I recall is that the system when it was developed had a specific emergency management and EOC focus. The first time it was sold, it went to a company with a medical background and then it was sold again and again (and again?).
Currently it is aligned with
Juvare and you can link to it here,
WebEOC Juvare
I will have a separate blog post and a podcast coming on WebEOC.
For now, will the Five Arrows acquisition of WebEOC make someone look like a pincushion? I do think that the increasing number of disasters that have more significant damages and impacts is drawing the attention of investment groups like Five Arrows. While climate change is an "unmentionable" term in the current federal administration, others are taking note of the impacts and looking to monetize appropriate investments.
