Webinar: GIS Information Sharing for Coordinated Disaster Response

You can learn about what Kentucky did with other states to establish standards.

I'm involved in moderating an upcoming Esri-sponsored webinar called GIS Information Sharing for Coordinated Disaster Response.

In the pre-call we had getting ready for this event I was very impressed with what Doug Eades is going to share about what they have achieved both within Kentucky and with their neighboring states. The basic premises they used for coordination are practical and adoptable by other regions of the country.

Anytime you can get eight states to agree to some common standards for mapping and sharing data you have achieved something meaningful!

Be sure to register and tune in on Dec. 17, it will be worth your time and effort.
