I do think that President Trump does want to get re-elected. He just has trouble getting out of his own way. I did a quick Google search and came up with this, 8 Situations When You Should Keep Your Mouth Shut.
The advice in the link above, I'm sure was not written with a president in mind. But, if the shoe fits, slip it under his bedroom door tonight.
And then now, just today, there is this, Trump orders GM to manufacture ventilators under the Defense Production Act. The president signed a memorandum requiring the company to “accept, perform and prioritize” federal government contracts for production of the much-needed medical equipment." Which the first link above made the point, that he didn't think that number of ventilators was needed. Huh?
I don't know about you, but I'm starting to feel like Pete Gaynor, FEMA administrator, and it is a whipsaw type of impact (to move, or to make something move, quickly between two directions)
Also, today, we are not worried about the economy, it is all about life safety. There went being back in church for Easter -- which was the message on Monday!
