Louisiana Gov. Blanco Amends Order on Statewide Interoperable Communications
The committee aims to provide reliable communications for the state of Louisiana's entire emergency response community.
Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco on Friday amended Executive Order No. KBB 2006-17, issued on March 31, 2006, which established a Statewide Interoperable Communication System Executive Committee "to develop an inter-disciplinary approach among all levels of government to provide reliable communications for the state of Louisiana's entire emergency response community." The amendment adds the CIO to the committee and makes a few other changes.
