Arlington libraries are offering its cardholders access to a new collection of downloadable audio books. The audio book collection consists of more than 1,600 digital versions of the latest best sellers, book club favorites, and award-winning authors. Digital materials are available in English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Thai.
"Whether you are traveling, commuting, or relaxing at home, audio books are easy to enjoy and they're available 24 hours a day from any computer anywhere," said Reference Librarian Linda Evans.
Setting up an account is easy with a library card. Visit any Arlington public library, register at a computer station or ask a librarian for assistance. To obtain a library card and more information about audio books, visit the City of Arlington Web site.
