The CCISDA Board is pleased to present the 2005 Visionary Award for Information Technology Leadership to Cuong Nguyen, Santa Cruz County CIO. Cuong is committed to collaboration among counties, and he has been instrumental in leading the collaboration for a property tax joint powers authority among a group of counties. He also initiated a county profile application that will benefit all CCISDA members. Within Santa Cruz County, Cuong has done a great job hiring new staff, getting customers to respect IT and has been performing succession planning.
