Identity Theft Prevention, Internet Crime on Agenda

June 8-9 in Portland, Ore.

RICHMOND, VA - The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) announced today the agenda and speaker lineup for the second of three regional Economic Crime Summits, which will be held June 8-9, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Jantzen Beach. The conference, now in its eighth year, has been regionalized and tailored to address key prevention and investigation issues facing law enforcement, risk management, and loss-control professionals.

The conference features 15 breakout sessions organized into three tracks: identity theft, Internet fraud, and elder fraud prevention. Experts in both public and private sectors will reveal recent case studies, followed by thorough discussions of criminal investigative methodologies, and pertinent state and federal laws. The Oregon event will bring together 350 attendees and 12 exhibitors offering a unique information-sharing opportunity.

Speakers at the event are investigators, prosecutors, victim services advocates, and risk management industry experts. Scheduled topics include:
