Description: Instant Recall Recorders - Dispatch Center 098-000-8600/22050098-4800 Budget Account No. NOTICE INVITING BIDS - The City of Chico will receive sealed bids for the above at the Chico Police Department, 1460 Humboldt Road, Chico, CA 95928 until 4:00 PM on April 4, 2002, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after 4:00 p.m. will be returned unopened. BIDDERS INFORMATIONBidders instructions, specifications and/ or plans for this project may be secured from the Chico Police Department, 1460 Humboldt Road, Chico, CA 95928 Contact Management Analyst Debbie Collins (530)879-3916 GENERAL DESCRIPTION - Purchase and installation of Exacom, Inc. 4-Channel Instant Recall Recorder, Model EARS-2000IR Desktop, or equivalent. BID SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTSBidders may only submit their bids on proposal forms provided by the City. No faxed bids will be accepted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on its outside with the item title, City budget account number (see above) and the bid opening date. (See above) BID AWARD PROVISIONS; REJECTION - An award of bid, if a bid is awarded, will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid complies with the City's requirements within sixty (60) days of the bid opening date. The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any bid which fails to meet bid requirements in any respect, to reject all bids for any reasons whatsoever and to waive minor irregularities in any bid. OUT OF STATE VENDORSSince the City is required to pay the California use tax on goods purchased from an out-of-state vendor, out-of-state vendors who do not pay California sales tax, directly or subject to a California State Use Tax Permit, must include the use tax in the bid total. The use tax shall be calculated based on the sales tax rate applicable in the City of Chico at the time the bid is prepared, currently 7.25%. DELIVERY OF AWARDED ITEMS - All awarded items must be delivered F.O.B. City of Chico Police Department, 1460 Humboldt Road, Chico, CA 95928 within 30 calendar days from date of order.
