Pearland, Texas, Begins Implementing GIS Strategic Plan
Connects 9-1-1 dispatchers and patrol officers to newly implemented system
The city of Pearland, Texas, has connected its E-9-1-1 and officers in the field to a new geographic information system developed by Geographic Technology Group. The installation of the system followed the development of an enterprise GIS plan which GTG developed for the city, and now both the city's 9-1-1 dispatchers and police officers on patrol can have access to data such as the location of emergency calls.
