Wichita Falls, Texas, Awards Records Management Contract
A fully integrated, state-of-the-art computer aided dispatch, law enforcement records management, and fire records management system
The city of Wichita Falls, Texas, awarded a $160,000 contract to BIO-key International for FireRMS records management software -- a component of the solution that Intergraph Public Safety is implementing for the city. The system will provide a fully integrated, state-of-the-art computer aided dispatch, law enforcement records management, and fire records management system.
BIO-key will provide its FireRMS 5.0 Fire Records Management System, an enterprise-class fire records management system with a full suite of fire service application modules that provide an integrated set of features for managing, reporting, and analyzing agency data. FireRMS makes it easier for the department and other users to track fire prevention procedures, pre-plan for emergency response, train firefighters, and administer competencies and certifications. The system is fully compliant with the United States Fire Administration's NFIRS 5.0 regulations administered by the National Fire Incident Reporting System.
