What old-school product did Kodak just announce it would be resuscitating?
Answer: the much-loved Ektachrome slide film
In the day of digital, slide film still has a loyal following. When Kodak canceled the Ektachrome in 2012, film photographers — yes, they still exist — threw a fit. Luckily for filmies, the imaging company announced during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegasthat it would be bringing the old classic back. The new iteration of an old film is expected to become available in the fourth quarter of 2017.
