What are the most popular street names in your state?

Answer: The Washington Post found out

Unsatisfied with 1993 Census data, The Washington Post gathered a new data set, revealing an updated list of the most popular street names in each state and nationally.

The most popular street names nationally are not surprising – the list is dominated by tree names like Oak, Maple, Pine, Cedar and Elm, along with Park, and numbered streets.

The analysis becomes more interesting on a state-by-state level. Apache is Arizona’s most popular street name and Dogwood is the most popular in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.

Street name fanatics can find the top 10 for each state at The Washington Post.
