In Japan, Iron Man 3 will be the first film shown in the new 4DX format, which adds various effects to the traditional moving pictures and sound -- think smell, seats that move to reflect onscreen action, strobe lighting and bubbles, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In fact, these tech-enhanced theaters can also blast jets of air and water at film-goers' heads. Doesn't that sound fun?
4DX technology is expected to hit U.S. theaters later this year.
