Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) researchers announced they are developing the world’s first guided small-caliber bullet. Called the Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordnance (EXACTO) system, the round fired can change direction in air, increasing range and accuracy for snipers.
