What "suspicious" thing (according to him) happened to anti-virus software pioneer John McAfee last week?

Answer: his house burned down

It's just the latest in a string of strange incidents in McAfee's life. McAfee's former home, located in the Central American country of Belize, was for sale when it burned to the ground. McAfee was also considered a person of interest after his American neighbor was shot dead in November 2012, but McAfee claimed he was being persecuted by corrupt authorities. After that incident, he fled to Guatemala, where he was detained and deported to the United States.

"I believe that there are a select few with great power in Belize that will go to great lengths to harm me. This fire was not just a strange coincidence," McAfee told Fox News

McAfee is no longer associated with his namesake company.
