A new French-made bikini from Spinali Design contains a sensor that alerts the wearer when it’s time to protect her skin with more sunscreen. The user can enter her skin type and then a sensor connected to a smartphone app detects when it’s time and sends the user an alert. Creator Marie Spinali said she got the idea from water pots that send an alert when it’s time water a plant. The health-conscious can purchase the new garment for the equivalent of $168, while a beach towel and UV sensor is available for $112.
