NATO recently classified what area as a war zone?
Answer: the Internet
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) announced June 14 that the Internet will now be classified as "operational domain" for war, joining the ranks of land, sea and air. After all the attacks that have taken place online, this recognition is obvious, said Paul Rosenzweig at Redbranch Law and Consulting in Washington, D.C., reported New Scientist. An attack in cyberspace can have real-world repercussions, including but not limited to power outages, telecommunications disruptions and more direct attacks such as those on nuclear power plants.
