What do the following have in common: a climbing pick, a defused grenade, a ninja star, a hack saw, a comb-dagger and an anti-tank landmine?

Answer: they were all things confiscated by the TSA

The Transportation Security Administration confiscates things people aren't allowed to bring on commercial flights every day, and many of them are showcased on the agency's Instagram page.

The TSA's social media presence is directed largely at informing the public of what is allowed to be carried on a flight, while also entertaining them with photos of the many weapons that people attempt to smuggle through.

Also regularly posted on the account are photos of the TSA's trained dogs, such as Maggie, an explosives detection canine working at the Washington-Dulles International Airport.
