What does municipal broadband do for economic development?

On July 15, Community Broadband Networks published a new Web page outlining the benefits of municipal broadband networks to economic development. The page makes a case for these networks as a tool for economic development, and covers topics like job creation, business attraction, business support, telecommuting, research, property values and entrepreneurship. Also highlighted are several video resources that bolster the case that government-sponsored broadband is a winning proposition for communities everywhere.
