What modern device is at the intersection of breakfast and finance?

A new Kickstarter project called Toasteroid would deliver reminders to the operator via words on their toast. Weather, calendar reminders, text messages and pictures can all be programmed onto the user’s toast via a mobile app. As of Aug. 8, with 41 days to go, the project had received about $15,000 of its $150,000 goal.
