PayPal surveyed a total of 15,000 people from 15 countries, and discovered “the vast majority of the world agrees that technology should make things simpler, connected and faster.”

Adults were surveyed in the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Turkey and the U.K. Most people want change in how they spend their money, and PayPal’s survey results show how they want change, what annoys them most about today’s payment methods, and which challenges should be addressed first.
