Which country's space station is falling down?
Answer: China's
China's space agency recently shared that its space station is falling back to Earth and is expected to be incinerated by the Earth's atmosphere sometime late next year. Many have suspected this was the case, Popular Mechanicsreported, and the agency's Sept. 14press conference confirms that the country is no longer in control of the station. Normally a decommissioned space station would be forced through the atmosphere in a controlled burn, but in this case gravity will decide. Though the chances of falling debris hurting anyone are remote, there is an outside chance of material falling from the sky sometime and somewhere late next year.
