The activity tracker market is expanding to serve whom?

Answer: dogs

At least three companies – Fitbark, Whistle and Voyce – make smartphone-connected activity monitors to track the health of man's best friend.

By tracking heart rate, caloric intake and respiratory rate, these devices allow pet owners to gain “unprecedented insight into your dog’s health and well-being, information and tools for you and your dog to grow together, and ways to share with your veterinarian and social networks,” according to the Voyce website.

Like the activity tracker market for people, this market segment is growing – wearable tech for pets is expected to become a $2.6 billion market, according to the CEO of FitBark.
