What does the Anti-Earthquake bed do?

Answer: It protects the sleeper from earthquakes

When this bed detects that an earthquake is happening, a trap door is activated, the sleeper falls into a box beneath the bed, and doors slide shut to encase the person inside, safe from falling debris. A storage space inside can hold drinking water, food and supplies to tide the person over until help arrives.

The creator, Wang Wenxi, said the bed would be suitable for brick and concrete low-rise buildings in areas known for earthquakes.
