You can find a lot of things on Google. Like, a lot of things. But what if there were some things on there that you didn’t want to be found?

Google is trying to make it as easy as possible for users to make sure there’s nothing about them on Google that they don’t want people to see. At the company’s recent Search on 22 event, it announced an addition to its new privacy feature. The “Results About You” tool launched earlier this year that allows you to search for any of your personal identifiable information (PII) on the web is getting notifications.

Results About You is slated to roll out soon in the U.S. in English. With it, users can simply search for themselves online and request that Google delete any PII that they find that they don’t want to share. And starting in 2023, you’ll be able to set up notifications so Google will automatically let you know when it detects your PII on the web.
