Fans of horror films are likely also fans of John Carpenter’s music — which has appeared in his own Halloween, The Fog, Prince of Darkness and more. The director and composer has also released four albums of cinematic instrumentals, called Lost Themes. And he’s performing live this Halloween.

This show in Los Angeles is part of a mini tour that is Carpenter’s first public performance since 2018. If you don’t live in L.A., you’re not out of luck yet. The concert will be livestreamed as “John Carpenter Live: Halloween From Los Angeles.” The show will feature Carpenter and other musicians including collaborators Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies playing his “most iconic themes and fan favorites on Halloween night the way they were meant to be heard.”

The performers will be accompanied by movie clips and other visuals. More details on how to catch the livestream are available on Carpenter’s website.
