Can Samsung’s newest smartphone survive being run over?

Answer: Apparently, yes!

One of the biggest players in the smartphone market, Samsung, is on the cusp of launching its newest handset, the Galaxy S22 series. As such, the reviewers have already gotten their hands on some for testing, and they’re reporting that the phone’s durability lives up to the hype.

Samsung claims that the newest Galaxy line features the strongest aluminum frame it’s ever put in a smartphone. YouTube channel PBKreviews has some pretty darn irrefutable evidence that this is true after running over an S22 Ultra with a car.

After driving over the phone, which was placed facedown on the ground, with both the front and rear wheel of the car, the team found that it escaped with minimal damage. The screen had quite a few scratches, but not enough to hinder its use. The back of the device had hardly any scratches, and the body wasn’t bent at all. There was also no impact to the functionality of any of the phone’s interior components.
