Xbox lovers just got some good news — Microsoft and LG have teamed up to bring you a way to play in your car (so long as you’re not the one behind the wheel). You’ll also need to have a compatible Internet-connected vehicle.
The vehicle will need to have LG’s Automotive Content Platform, from which users will be able to access Xbox Cloud Gaming. Users can then play cloud versions of Xbox games on the car’s infotainment screens (in the back seat only). The service will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers, as well as for some of the more popular game titles.
“Our work with LG is the latest example of Xbox expanding to new places, building on partnerships that already bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to mobile devices, PCs and TVs,” said Xbox Marketing Vice President Christopher Lee. “By adding vehicles to the mix, we’re giving players more choice than ever in how they enjoy their games.”
