Can you use emojis in Google Docs?

Answer: You can now.

Emojis on Twitter
Google Docs just got a whole lot more fun. Thanks to a new update, users will now be able to add emojis directly inline with text.

The update is currently rolling out and will be available to users of Google Workspace, legacy G Suite Basic and Business, as well as those with personal Google accounts. To use the feature, simply type “@” followed by the item you want, such as “dog,” or a related keyword or theme. You’ll then be able to scroll through a drop-down menu of matching emojis.

Typing “@” or “:” with nothing after them to get a drop-down menu from which you can navigate to the full catalog of emojis available.
