KitKat on Wednesday announced the launch of an online tracking tool that can tell you if the KitKat bar in your hand was one of the victims of last week’s heist. A truck carrying 12 tons’ worth of KitKat bars, approximately 413,793 units, was “stolen during transit in Europe,” per the company.

Just in case the thieves have been discreetly reselling the candy (which, let’s be honest, is quite likely), KitKat is giving customers a way to check if the one they’re about to eat was involved. The company on Wednesday launched an online tracking tool where you can enter the batch number of any KitKat bar to find out if it was part of the heist.

Despite this tool being released on April Fools’ Day, the company is insisting that it is real and not a joke.
